With 25 years in the automotive industry, Boccella opened Boccella’s Performance at 248 Swamp Pike and is now reaping the benifits of his hard work.
Boccella said, “I’ve always worked at a dealer. My dad worked for Ford. My very first car was towed into my driveway. My dad said, as soon as you can fix it, you can drive it.
From his humble beginnings as a student in vocational technical school, to his successful custom speed shop, Boccella’s Automotive Performance opened its door eight years ago. Conveniently located in Schwenksville, the shop serves the local and regional community from general cars and trucks to classic hot rods.
“The best part is being able to interact with people. What we are trying to do is bring back the old time garage environment. You know the people and the family. A place where husbands can send wives in without getting ripped off,” explained Boccella.
As a Lower Pottsgrove resident, Boccella’s said he stands by his work and integrity. He said, “I always try to take care of my customers because I go the same places they go. Nobody left this to me, we built this from the ground up.”
